Our pharmacy staff is one of the best in the industry. Some of our pharmacists hold consulting licensure, and others hold licensure to practice in other states; all are licensed with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy, operate within the confines of state law and utilize best practices. In addition, our pharmacy technicians are knowledgeable and confident. Several are “certified” pharmacy technicians. One of those is a nurse and serves as our lead pharmacy technician at our corporate office. Our drivers are safe, friendly, and dependable. All of these factors work together to create a team that is unmatched in the Southeast! 

Cycle Fill

Northeast cycle fills all medications for its facilities. This means that all of your consumer's medicines start and stop on the same day. This is a huge benefit to your nursing staff since they do not have to check meds daily to see who is running out. All meds are simply filled and delivered on a certain day of the week. Delivery to your facility can be made as needed on a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly schedule.

Medication Administration Records

We provide paper MAR's at no charge to your facility. These are typically printed and delivered by the 25^th of the month. This ensures you have time to check them in. If the delivery date needs to be adjusted we will accommodate you.

Emar

We also have an electronic administration system to suit your needs. This system offers your facility comprehensive monitoring and administration. The flexibility of the web based system allows your clinical directors and nursing staff the ability to manage medication from any computer with internet access! There is a link on our home page to a fully functional demonstration.

Delivery

We pride ourselves in being the premier pharmacy that offers PDS or Personal Delivery Service. Many long term care pharmacies make deliveries in the evening between the hours of 6-11pm. At this hour most of the nursing staff that work extensively with medication are gone for the day. This is unreasonable and inconvenient. Northeast will deliver your cycle fill medications to your staff during the day at a time that you choose.

The only evening deliveries we make our ones that involve daily order changes. However, these are also handled with our PDS. Our drivers are well trained and you can rest assured that your medicine will not fall prey to postal mishaps. We also have several back-up service methods in place to ensure that you never go without the medicine you need.

Packaging 

Need your medicines packaged a certain way? We offer several different packaging methods to suit your needs. Our packaging is safe, compliant, and user-friendly.
